If understanding and connection is something that you as parents are lacking between you and your kids, this show is for you. In 2017, about 19.97 million children in the United States lived with one parent, approximately 16.77 million of them with their mother only. Today we see all sorts of single parent families headed by mothers, fathers, older siblings, and even grandparents. Join Dr. Sutherland and her guests, Rhythm (single dad), along with Shannen-Rose and Nigel (young people raised in single parent homes), as they share their experiences and practical ideas on how to overcome strained parent-child relationships and improve communication and positive interaction.
